FAQ
We offer an unmatched 10-year warranty on Rebound Ace surfaces. This warranty does not cover mechanical damage or defects that may be caused by poor-quality base construction (concrete or asphalt) beneath the sports surface.
We order the components for each court or field individually from our Australian supplier. Preparing the goods for shipment and shipping them by sea, followed by transport from the port to the installation site, can take over 2 months.

The tennis court installation duration depends on the size of the project (number of courts) and whether installation takes place outdoors or indoors. Indoor installations are less affected by weather conditions, whereas outdoor installations may be delayed by rain.
For example, one outdoor Rebound Ace HSA court can be installed in 7-8 days in good weather, but rain may extend the installation time to more than double.
Indoor installations can be completed year-round. Outdoor installations, due to climate requirements, are feasible approximately from mid-April to early October.
The first installation of this multi-layer acrylic tennis surface system (including the cushioning layer) was completed in Australia in 1979, followed by installations in New Zealand. Despite harsh climate conditions (extreme heat in summer and freezing weather in New Zealand), these installations have shown no defects or deficiencies. Based on this experience, the manufacturer states that the surface lifespan is 50+ years.
We have similar experiences with court installations in the Czech Republic that were completed over 20 years ago, which is why we confidently offer a 10-year warranty on Rebound Ace Sports surfaces.
The advantages of these surfaces are that they are frost-resistant and waterproof, meaning they are not adversely affected by freeze-thaw cycles as other artificial surfaces (such as artificial turf and synthetic clay court), which may show significant quality changes after only a few years.
Another significant advantage is stable play characteristics throughout their lifespan (unlike other surfaces that tend to “speed up”).
This durability is achieved without requiring maintenance such as brushing, sand or granule filling, or general tennis court refurbishment.
The Rebound Ace Sports system is practically maintenance-free. Long-term investment in Rebound Ace Sports surfaces is highly cost-effective because it eliminates many costs associated with maintaining and extending the life of many other artificial surfaces.
Many clients, after experiencing issues with their artificial tennis court, have chosen to replace them with the Rebound Ace Sports system.
The Rebound Ace Sports surface allows play anytime the temperature is suitable for play. This surface offers a much longer play season than just the 6 months possible on artificial clay court.
Even in winter, when the temperature reaches an acceptable level, play and sports activities are possible. It can be said that the surface is playable for 9 or more months a year.
We offer different tennis surfaces in 12 colors, and these can be combined. The final color can also be changed after several years if the court or sports field owner wants a new look. A color sample chart is available here.
Standard dimensions for a tennis court, including the “run-off” areas, are 36m x 18m. It can be installed on a smaller plot, but a minimum of 34m x 16m is recommended.
The surfaces are installed on a concrete or asphalt base. A gravel layer of approximately 30cm should be applied under the final concrete or asphalt. The concrete slab must be at least 10cm thick (or asphalt 5cm). Detailed requirements for site preparation can be downloaded here.
Rebound Ace Sports surfaces are very popular among recreational players for their play characteristics, higher and slower ball bounces, and surface flexibility, which protects the musculoskeletal system (Rebound Ace Grandslam and Rebound Ace HSA Club systems).
The flexibility can be easily felt when walking on the surface “barefoot.” Therefore, these surfaces are also suitable for performance and high-level tennis, as daily training is less taxing on the body than on all classic “hardcourts.”
Testing is possible at one of our installations by prior arrangement or at a tennis hall that allows public play.
Choosing the right system depends on several factors.
What type of base do you have?
The most common bases for tennis courts are asphalt, concrete, or Conirace. We would be happy to assist you in choosing the right base.
What properties should the surface have?
Rebound Ace surfaces differ in flexibility and game speed. You can learn more in the Rebound Ace section.
